A few days ago I ran across an article featuring Russian photographer Katerina Plotnikova and I was absolutely stunned by the images she is able to create. She shoots women within nature and interacting with beautiful animals, to compose surreal, dream-like photos. Katerina has titled the theme of her photography "Another Tale About Wonderland."
I'm in love with the interplay between nature and the feminine; it invokes such a wild spirit within me, making me want to get lost in a forest or find Avalon or just nurture the part of myself that is in touch with our Mother Earth. There is something in these photos, surreal as they are, that makes me think, that's exactly how it should be.
They also make me want to have a pet fox.
