I thought all week about what I would say at the Thanksgiving table when we all share what we are thankful for. There really are so many things to acknowledge, so I summarized by saying I'm thankful for abundance. Life feels so abundant, so sufficient and I know that I'm lucky to be able to say that. Abundance allows us to dream and dreaming is a wonderful thing.
I can't believe it's been 6 years since I've celebrated Thanksgiving in America, and hence 6 years since I've witnessed the Autumn season. But I've adopted new traditions with my family and friends here in Uganda, including an annual game of ultimate croquet (Kreutter rules dictate you must have a drink in one hand and your mallet in the other).
P.S. Notice my tiny baby bump beginning to stick out there?!
